Real Estate
Geographic Information Science allows businesses to tackle spatial problems in ways they never were able to before. For any business endeavor that depends on efficient use of space or of locations our geographic analytical services can provide a significant competitive edge.
Hedonic Analysis
Hedonic analysis (an econometric method using multiple regression analysis) can be used to derive prices indeces for real estate, define the boundaries of real estate markets, value land and value location-based amenities. |

Commercial Siting
In many types of business location is almost everything. Intuition can help choose the right location, but if you want an analytical and quantitative representation of locational qualities you need to employ a GIS. We can help you choose the right locations by combining advanced mapping technology with an in-depth knowledge of urban economic and demographic phenomenon. Whether you want to locate outlets for a chain of cafes, a new department store or bank branches, our services can help you make the right decision.
|
| For example, a location may look central on a map, but it may be badly skewed in terms of travel time from different neighborhoods. SIG's analysts can use data from city traffic departments and other public sources to generate travel time maps to proposed locations. These maps can take into account road size, speed limits, average traffic conditions and even stoplights and speedbumps. We can then overlay demographic data layers to determine how many households are captured within the different travel time zones. We can even look at average household income and other market indicators to determine what sort of market you are capturing. Based on these and other analyses we can propose a series of potential solutions from which you can choose the one that best suits your business vision. |
